Some of our residents park underground. Others prefer to simply dock.
Cabo San Lucas was a sleepy fishing village that boasted an amazing natural harbor and some of the best sport-fishing in the world. As it transformed into a resort destination, the Cabo San Lucas Marina remained the heart of downtown and is now lined with waterfront cantinas, restaurants and some of the best shopping that Los Cabos has to offer. And you'll find it all waiting to be explored just beyond the south gate of Hacienda.
Marlin, motorboats and more.
Whether you're a yacht owner, a sport fisherman or a sailing enthusiast, the Cabo San Lucas Marina is your personal waterway. With schools of Marlin, Sailfish, Wahoo and Dorado feeding in the rich waters of the Sea of Cortez, Los Cabos has become one of the world's best year-round sport- fishing destinations. Mega-yachts, sailboats and catamarans are ready to whisk you away for sunset cruises, snorkeling adventures and some of the best scuba diving in North America. In addition to 380 individual slips, the Marina also features 24-hour security and is home to one of the world's richest sport-fishing tournaments.
The entrance to town.
In the late afternoon you can watch the fishing boats return and gauge their success by the flags they are flying. Boating pros begin their evenings with happy hour at Baja Cantina Dockside at the edge of the Marina. A stroll along the waterfront reveals a host of Cabo San Lucas dining options from the European influences at Alexander Bistro, to fresh lobster at Baja Lobster Co., to Captain Tony's, where they'll prepare your own catch just the way you want it. The non-stop activity along the waterfront continues at Luxury Avenue and Puerto Paraiso, with three levels of spectacular shopping, a bowling alley, ten-screen movie theater and dining including the ever-popular Ruth's Chris Steak House.
